Asymetry is a range of storage furniture with soft and asymmetrical lines. Based on the active pedagogy developed by Maria Montessori, Asymetry helps develop children's autonomy and motor skills from an early age by offering adaptable furniture adapted to the child's height. This collection consists of a wardrobe, a shelf and a desk. Children can access their affairs and make decisions on their own in complete autonomy. The range is designed to optimize and rationalize production thanks to its standardized shapes and its evolving nature which allow the collection to be part of an eco-design approach. Asymetry evolves and adapts to the new needs of the child. Based on Montessori pedagogy, the Asymetry collection supports children in their growth and guides them in their learning. Autonomy, motor skills and also the child's imagination are constantly challenged. The Asymetry collection offers a range of products adapted to the needs of the child who will grow and evolve with him. Two types of kits are designed. On the one hand, lateral extension kits which allow functional elements to be added in the continuity of the product and to enlarge it in length. For example, the single shelf can become double or triple or even be combined with the desk because the assembly system is identical on both products. On the other hand, vertical extension kits are available to enlarge the products as the child grows so the height and use are always adapted. These kits are the strength of the collection, from the design phase the principle of scalability was incorporated. Still in this principle of scalability, the office is designed to grow with the child. For this, 4 heights are available: 42cm for toddlers, 53cm then 64cm and finally 75cm which corresponds to a standard desk size for teenagers and adults. In the same idea as the desk, the bench also offers different seat heights in correlation with the three upper heights of the desk: 31cm then 38cm and finally 45cm. Made of solid fir and MDF (E1), lacquered in colors or lacquered in colors + varnished or unpainted.
