The Modern Collector represents the next generation of iconic Liberty interiors. Archival prints are reinterpreted and reworked, appearing alongside contemporary new artworks created in the London design studio – a special focus on surface sees lustre and matte effects carefully balanced with line and tone, bold colour and hue, and beautiful, unexpected texture.
Quill is a contemporary decorative stripe design – originally created by the Liberty design team as a fashion fabric, it has been developed as a smart versatile coordinate, reminiscent of feather quills. It is printed using a fine engraved roller for a soft elegant look, capturing the fine detail and tone work within the design.
