The Modern Collector represents the next generation of iconic Liberty interiors. Archival prints are reinterpreted and reworked, appearing alongside contemporary new artworks created in the London design studio – a special focus on surface sees lustre and matte effects carefully balanced with line and tone, bold colour and hue, and beautiful, unexpected texture.
For Wiltshire Blossom, the most iconic 1930s leaf-and-berry Liberty print is repainted and re-engineered into a contemporary furnishing design. It is printed using a hybrid technique which allows both flat colour and raised reticulated pigment to sit side by side, providing a beautiful tactility and clarity of print mark, rendered in both matte and metallic pigment.
