When Chris and Will Haughey founded their business, they wondered, "Why not create a for-profit corporation that promotes a positive social impact in Honduras through its business?".
That's where Tegu Toyworks was born, a completely independent toy factory that develops its own games based on a phrase dictated by Peter Gray: "You can't teach creativity; all you can do is let it blossom, and it blossoms in play".
The games are designed in the United States, specially made in Honduras as it is the third poorest country in the Western Hemisphere and has one of the highest rates of unemployment. The decision to realize them there is dictated by the fact that Chris and Will believe that the power to create jobs.
