All RICE DK raffia products are handmade; The raffia fibers come from palm fronds in Madagascar ... the place where the story of RICE began.

The products are made with the conscience and the heart in the right place: the production takes place in the mountains of Madagascar and supports more than 300 families on the Red Island.

Raffia varies in color in nature and this variation is also reflected in the coloring. This means that no two baskets are ever identical - this is part of the appeal of the product.
